Julie's Heart for Children
"When I had heard that Julie was making a plate for the CASA Auction 2010 ( I was co-chair at the time and so got to see and hear about everything that was coming in), I was VERY excited. Not only because Julie is a great artist in glasswork but because CASA has been a passion of mine for over 2o years,and having this plate would be a great representation of the cause I so dearly love.
Unfortunately, at the Auction I got involved with some issues and was talking while the plate was being auctioned off. So I implored/begged Julie to make me a special one similar to the heart motif she had already done. I told her I would pay the amount that the plate went for at the auction and give the money to CASA. Happily, she agreed and the plate now sits all by itself in the middle of the mantle in our downstairs library ! ! My wife & I hope to acquire more of her glass work in the future".

Her contributions of fused glass art were exquisite and helped raise significant funds toward their mission. I appreciate that she shares her talent as well as her support and passion for this children's organization".
